Milestone was the Construction Manager for the renovations and expansion to the Center at Eastman. The twenty year old building was in need of a major energy efficiency overhaul, and renovation to address dated interior and changing needs of the facility. The building houses the Bistro Nouveau restaurant and Pub, a function hall, the pro-shop, the cross country ski program and the Eastman Community Association Offices. The owners had a fixed budget, working hand in hand with the owner and architect we developed the most cost effective systems and finishes. The initial estimate came in almost $1,000,000 over budget. Milestone worked with the team to value engineer the entire design to find a design and finishes that worked while staying within their budget, and did not compromise the energy efficiency or sustainability of the project.
