South Cove Recreation Building
Challenges
Milestone constructed the South Cove Recreation Building for the Eastman Community Association in Grantham, New Hampshire.
The project has been awarded LEED Gold Certification and has also received the 2011 LEED Sustainable Building of the Year Award by the U.S. Green Building Council.
The building includes a lap and swimming pool, fitness room, locker rooms, activity rooms, lounge area, and offices. The structure is a combination of timber frame, pre-fabricated wall panels, and Structural Insulated Panel system (SIPs) roof structure.
