Merrimack Lodge at White Park
Challenges
Milestone was the construction manager for the new Skate House at White Park. The skate house features an outdoor gas fireplace, an indoor fireplace, a kitchen, a new meeting room, restrooms, a snack bar and maintenance storage. It replaced a 1950s building that was left in disrepair and closed during the 1990s.
The project was funded through a joint fund raising effort by the city and the organizer of the Black Ice Hockey Tournament. The foundation of the old skate house was saved and the new building built upon it.
