Challenges

Milestone constructed this 3,500 square foot branch bank for Bank of New Hampshire (Laconia Savings Bank). Sited on a former gas station site, the project presented a number of challenges with very poor soil conditions that required the building to be constructed on helical piles. Ground water on the site was extensive and required an extensive grad water management program implemented during constructing.

The entrance is highlighted by a tower that not only allows the mounting of signage, but also makes the building visible on busy Daniel Webster Highway.

The branch includes a teller line, drive up window, private offices and a conference room. The exterior is a brick veneer with PVC detail trim for low maintenance. The wood work was installed by Milestone’s craftsmen.
