Epsom Library

Challenges

Milestone worked closely with the Epsom Library Committee to construct the Epsom Public Library over an eighteen month period. The project was a public/private partnership with the Town of Epsom providing a portion of the funds, and the rest raised through donations from residents, foundations, and donors.

Milestone scheduled the construction to accomplish the work as funds were raised. The building shell was constructed in the first major phase along with the site development. The building was then finished off as funds became available, working closely with the committee.

The building is a classic New England design with a vinyl clapboard exterior and an asphalt shingled roof. Other features include wood double hung windows, a cupola, wood stud and drywall partitions, carpeted floors, and acoustic ceilings.

The building is located on a five-acre site behind the original town hall with an access drive-off of Route 4 and a twenty-car parking lot.
